This was the perfect place for my son's birthday weekend staycation! There was plenty to do - the boys enjoyed kayaking in the creek and fishing in the pond, and plenty of room to hang out and play outside. The house is beautiful - I love that it's been kept true to its history as much as possible. The surrounding area is so peaceful, and I loved how well we could see the stars at night. Bonnie was a very accommodating host, and proactive in making sure we were comfortable.

We stayed for a week and was amazed with this place from day one. It was like stying at a museum. Also showed us what it would be like living 200 years go the natural floors creaked as they should being hand crafted using the old ways of carpentry. The place was very clean and well maintained.Definitely a place to stay if you like rustic quaint quiet living!

Home was beautiful inside and out. I would highly recommend this home if you are looking for a peaceful, romantic, relaxing week or weekend but is perfect for family fun too. The decor and furniture was so cute throughout. There is also plenty of space to relax outdoors and do some fishing.
