The Inn on North Jefferson is a charming and exceptionally clean historic inn offering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Guests consistently praise its thoughtful design, convenient amenities like a self-service kitchen and complimentary breakfast at the nearby Local Yokel cafe, and its ideal location in Milledgeville. It’s described as a ‘home away from home’ with a relaxing pace.
The Inn on North Jefferson is by far the best place I’ve stayed in Georgia. The property is beautifully organized with a charming historic atmosphere and is thoughtfully designed for guests’ comfort. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and the shared spaces are cozy and welcoming. I was even able to use the washer and dryer, which truly made it feel like home. As someone who stayed for several nights, I highly recommend this gorgeous inn, not only as a place to sleep, but as a comfortable living space during your travels.
This place is truly special! These owners know how to accommodate their guests. Charming house with great details, very clean, and special little pockets of added enjoyment in the amenities offered. My husband and I truly enjoyed our quiet and cozy time here in the Elizabeth master suite. Thank you guys- keep up the great work.
The Inn is a lovely home near downtown. It has 6 (?) rooms, with self check-in, a self service kitchen and bar area. Breakfast is at the Local Yokel, where you have an Inn menu and will probably be met by Cliff, who owns the Inn and (we assume) the restaurant. The room we had (Glenna) was spacious, quiet and clean. We will return if we return to Milledgeville.
This inn is completely full of charm! It was the perfect place for our overnight baby shower. The beds are amazing and sleep so well. The rooms are beautiful. The owners have poured such love and attention into every detail. If you want a relaxed, slow pace weekend away - this is your place!
An absolutely delightful inn. Our room was clean and wonderfully appointed and the common spaces for the inn are really perfect. And breakfast at the Local Yokel was delicious. This is the only place we’ll stay in Milledgeville from now on.
Love this place! Inn keeper Cliff was friendly & welcoming, fun to visit with. Stayed 3 nights in the Glenna room & enjoyed it. The Inn & our room were clean & comfortable. Great location. Enjoyed the Inn’s shared spaces each evening to relax & read. Enjoyed the snacks they provided in the kitchen & the complimentary coffee set up. Everything was as described & pictured. Love the breakfast concept - you go anytime you choose to the Owner’s cafe (the Local Yokal) and order complimentary off the menu. Great cafe service, walkable from the Inn. Would definitely recommend a visit and would stay here again if in the area. Thanks, Cliff!
I stayed in the Pearl room in November and had a wonderful stay. The outside of the house was decorated for fall and looked beautiful. The history of the property was cool and the owners pay close attention to cleanliness and ease of use. All the rooms have their own bathroom and there is a lock and key to each room. I walked down the street to a local restaurant for free breakfast each morning. A great place in a great little town!
We spent 3 nights in the Pearl room. It was great! Bed was comfy, water was hot and the space was clean. We enjoyed the extra touches of free snacks and drinks. It was also great to be able to walk downtown and eat dinner along with the yummy breakfast they provided at their restaurant. I recommend the eggs Benedict! We hope to return!
